I had a very enjoyable weekend.; I attended
Palmetto Tat Days 2010 in
Toccoa, GA. It is just a wonderful experience to spend time with people of like mind. I was able to see friends that I had not seen in a few years and I also made some new friends. With the internet making the world a smaller place I was able to put faces with friends whose blogs I read and find some I had not heard of before. Each day was a joy sharing the love of tatting.
I wanted to combine my love of tatting with my love of beads and signed up for classes with Nina. I was able to complete 2 pairs of earrings and start in necklace in class. Not to shabby for someone who was intimidated and not real sure she was ready. I am very excited to be able to be able achieve that much in 2 days. I will be posting pictures soon.
